Espresso Martini Truffles

These espresso martini truffles are the perfect combination of sophistication and fun. With the rich, smooth flavour of chocolate infused with espresso and hazelnut, these truffles will make you want to dance on the table. They're the perfect treat for when you want to indulge in something a little bit naughty and a lot delicious.





200g chocolate (I used Hazella but any milk chocolate will work)

30ml coffee liqueur

100ml cream

100g chopped hazelnuts


Roughly chop chocolate and place in a heat-proof bowl.


Place liqueur and cream into a small pot and heat until just bubbling. Pour over the chocolate and leave it to sit for a minute. Stir together the ganache and place in fridge to chill for 30 minutes.


Finely chop hazelnuts and place into a small bowl.


Once ganache has chilled, use two spoons to dollop chocolate onto a lined plate or tray. Return to the fridge for another 30 minutes.


Roll the truffles in your hand to create a smooth ball and then dunk into the chopped hazelnuts. Keep refrigerated.
