Espresso Martini

This is a classic cocktail to start the evening with that will keep you going long into the night. It's not a sweet cocktail, so if you need a bit of sweetness you could add 15ml simple syrup. I've written my alcohol recommendations from least to most expensive, and bolded the one which I usually buy.





60ml vodka (Absolut, Grey Goose, Belvedere)

30ml coffee liqueur (Kahlua, Quick Brown Fox, Mr. Black)

30ml chilled espresso

Ice

Coffee beans for garnish


Place your glass into the freezer to chill for 5 minutes.


Load everything into your cocktail shaker with ice, and shake baby!


To dilute the drink properly and get it nice and cold you should aim for 30-60 seconds of shaking or until your hand can no longer hold the cold shaker.


Strain into chilled glass and garnish with coffee beans.
